About HeyGo
Is “Hey Go” the same as HeyGo?
Yes. HeyGo is often written as two words, Hey Go, and both refer to the same travel and transport app for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The official website is heygo.in and the official Android app is published on Google Play.
Can I book a cab or taxi on HeyGo, or is it only carpooling?
Both. The same search shows private passenger vehicles for the whole car and shared seats on trips drivers have already published, for local travel and outstation routes. Pick whichever suits the journey.
What happens if my driver cancels at the last minute?
The booking is offered to another driver running the same route on the same day. If that driver accepts, you are asked to approve the new driver, vehicle, departure time and exact fare before anything changes, and you can decline. We call it ride assurance.
What is HeyGo?
HeyGo is a travel and transport platform with two sides. Riders share car seats on trips that drivers are already making, while people and businesses can book goods vehicles—from a mini truck to a large truck—to move things within a city or between cities.
Is HeyGo a car rental or a self-drive service?
No. HeyGo is not a self-drive car rental. Every vehicle on the platform comes with its own driver, who publishes the trip they are making. You book a seat in that car, or you book that goods vehicle for your load, you never drive the vehicle yourself.
Can I send a small item, a document or a gift through HeyGo?
HeyGo is built around booked vehicles rather than parcel courier, so there is no per-item courier service today. If you need something moved, you book the goods vehicle that suits the load, for a small consignment that usually means a mini truck.
How do I create a HeyGo account?
Customers can choose Google Sign-In or register with their name, mobile number and email. Google Sign-In verifies the Google identity, then asks for a mobile number and OTP when needed to complete the HeyGo account. Drivers use the standard registration flow and verify their mobile number by OTP.
How does booking a ride work?
Search for the route you want, compare the rides drivers have published, and confirm the seat. From your dashboard you can then track the trip status, confirm completion once you arrive, and see the booking in your ride history.
How do I book a vehicle to move goods?
Search the goods vehicles available for your route. Each listing shows the vehicle class and its payload capacity in kilograms, so you can match the vehicle to the load before you book rather than discovering the problem on the day.
Is HeyGo available in my city?
HeyGo currently focuses on Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with dedicated coverage for Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, plus the intercity corridors between them.
Is there a HeyGo mobile app?
Yes. The HeyGo Android app is available on Google Play wherever Google Play is supported. Customers and drivers can also use the browser platform at app.heygo.in.
How does HeyGo verify drivers?
Drivers register with their mobile number and email, verify by OTP, and upload their driving licence along with a photo of the vehicle. They also record the vehicle registration number, model, class and payload capacity, which is what riders and shippers see on the listing.
Can I be both a customer and a driver?
Yes, but they are separate accounts with separate sign-ins. The customer portal handles booking, tracking and history; the driver portal handles publishing trips, managing bookings and vehicle details.
How do I delete my HeyGo account?
Sign in to the portal as a customer or a driver and use the account deletion page. You must be signed in to the account you want to delete.

Carpooling
What is carpooling?
Carpooling means sharing a car journey that is already happening. A driver publishes the trip they are making with the seats they have free, and riders travelling the same way book those seats instead of each taking a separate vehicle.
Is carpooling with HeyGo safe?
Customer identity is established through Google Sign-In or the standard account flow, with mobile OTP verification when required. Drivers verify by OTP and upload their driving licence and vehicle details during onboarding. Trip status is tracked in the app so your booking is never an unrecorded handshake.
Can I carpool for a daily office commute?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. Drivers publish the same route repeatedly, so a commute you make five days a week can be booked as a seat rather than a second car on the road.
What if my plans change after booking?
Manage the booking from your customer dashboard and tell the driver as early as you can. Late cancellations are what stop drivers from publishing seats, so the earlier the message, the better it works for everyone.
Goods transport
Which vehicle should I book to move my things?
Match the vehicle to the volume, not just the weight. A single room or a shop restock fits a mini truck at 500 to 1,000 kg, a 2BHK usually needs a tempo, a full house or an office needs a 14 ft truck, and full truckload freight needs a large truck.
Is HeyGo a packers and movers service?
HeyGo provides the vehicle and the driver, not a packing crew. If you have packed and can load, booking the right vehicle here is considerably cheaper than a full-service move, but if you need packing and labour, that is arranged separately.
Can I book a goods vehicle between cities?
Yes. Drivers publish intercity trips as well as local ones, which means you can book against a run that is already happening, including on corridors like Hyderabad to Vijayawada and Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam.
How do I know the vehicle can take my load?
Every goods vehicle on HeyGo is registered with its class and payload capacity in kilograms, and drivers upload the vehicle image and registration details during onboarding. The capacity is visible on the listing before you confirm.
Drivers
What do I need to register as a HeyGo driver?
Your name, mobile number and email, your vehicle registration number, name, model and class (passenger or goods), the vehicle payload capacity in kilograms, plus a photo of the vehicle and of your driving licence.
Can I register a goods vehicle as well as a car?
Yes. Vehicle class is set as either passenger or goods during onboarding, so car owners publishing shared rides and truck owners publishing load runs both use the same driver portal.
How do I publish a trip?
Sign in to the driver portal, create the ride with your route and timing, and manage the bookings that come in against it. You update the trip status as the journey progresses so riders can follow it.
